You will have close contacts with developers, landowners, businesses, politicians, and authorities. The role therefore requires good service and a confident way of leading dialogue and collaboration.

We see that you have:

  • experience in producing analyses and knowledge bases about buildings, land use, landscape, design, and sustainable development
  • the ability to follow trends in the environment and translate them into strategies for the municipality's long-term development
  • a good understanding of mobility and public transport, including walking, cycling, and shared mobility
  • experience in analyzing travel patterns and monitoring key figures such as the share of sustainable trips, travel time ratios, traffic safety, and reduced CO2 emissions
  • confidence and experience in planning processes where you contribute as strategic support to ensure that building and traffic planning are interconnected
  • the ability to produce decision-making materials in mobility, sustainability, and land use, and to propose measures based on social, environmental, and economic perspectives
  • the opportunity to contribute to design programs, structure plans, and development plans
  • good communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally, and confidence in producing and presenting political decision-making materials
  • ease in coordinating issues between planning, traffic, environment, business, and development functions
  • an interest in participating in citizen dialogues and communication about community development issues

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience working in a politically governed organization
  • previous experience in physical planning, sustainable travel, and/or statistics
  • worked with GIS, particularly ArcGIS

Therefore, we place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to strengthen the team's work as a whole.

We offer you:

  • a meaningful role where you make a difference every day - you contribute directly to the municipality's development and the everyday lives of community members, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders
  • a workplace with care, development, and engagement as values that shape both work methods and decisions
  • great opportunities to influence both your own assignment and the municipality's long-term development
